Did you ever read something so fabulous and think: “I want to share this with the world!”? Or did you ever come across a great tool and muse: “Where has this been all my life? Someone else out there must need this, too…”? Well, we have, and that is what brings us here today.
Welcome to Research Salad, a blog run by a few overenthusiastic research nerds who want to share with you our best finds, insights, and advice. We are two librarians and two doctoral students, interested in all things academic, qualitative, educational technology, and social justice. The short story of our purpose comes from an independent study undertaken by our doc students. Over the course of the last six months, we have been working to sharpen our qualitative research skills through extensive reading, interviewing, and analysis. Having reached the end of that project, the realization hit us that there was so much more to learn, and just as much to share with you. We want the work that we have done, and will continue to do, to be shared with others who are as passionate about research and world-changing as we are.
Keep your browsers tuned to this site over the next few weeks (and beyond!) as we piece together our mosaic of the best in what we know, and the best of what’s to be learned.
